RMS Aureol was a Passenger and cargo ship of Elder Demster Lines / Liverpool, built at Stephen / Glasgow. Commissioned in 1951. 14083 GRT, 163.6 x 21.4m, 16kn, 658 passengers. Sold to Latsis / Greece in 1974 after more than 20 years in liner service. Renamed to MARIANNA VI and used as a living ship. Sold to India for scrapping in 2001.
