Pack of 4 traversing jacks. This is the most basic of lifting and slewing tools used to re-railing of locomotives, carriages and wagons. Once raised and levelled using the jacks the traversing mechanism allows the load to be moved along the line of the jack, quickly getting derailed wheels back inline with the rails.
These jacks are often seen on the footplates of industrial and narrow gauge locomotives, lines where the train crew would sort out minor incidents themselves rather than wait for assistance.

Pack of 2 fire hose cabinets. These were fixed to the walls of railway and industrial buildings including stations, locomotive sheds, warehouses and goods depots so that fire hoses could be connected and brought into use quickly in the event of a fire breaking out. Many large industries provided firefighting training for staff to commence firefighting and minimise damage before support arrived from the county fire service.

Contains 1 wheeled mobile cleaners trestle, as used at locomotive sheds and carriage depots to allow cleaners to access the upper sections of locomotives and coaches when not stabled alongside a platform.

One of the most useful pieces of kit is the oxy-acetylene trolley, an easy way to move source of very intense heat to a worksite. The heat from the oxy-acetylene torch can be used to free jammed parts, bring metals up to temperature for welding or using an extra jet of oxygen to cut through broken and bent parts.

Contains a driver figure posed leaning out of the cab window, standing shunter figure holding shunters pole, plus a spare shunters pole and spare oil train tail lamp.
08s have a cup at the bottom of the front footwell and a clip near footplate level to hold a shunters pole, though often a spare would be carried over one buffer and the coupling hook.
