Putting the power down is a rugged 4 wheel drive system and an oil damped suspension with differentials front and rear gearboxes like the big 1/8th racing buggies. The electronics incorporate an electronic speed controller, 2.4gHz radio into one compact unit with the steering servo strapped to the underside. A 'servo saver' protects the internal servo gears.
The chassis is made from thick aluminium sheet and this strong backbone is the platform that everything else bolts too and is designed to take serious knocks. Wheels and gearboxes are ball raced for long life and the suspension arms and drive shafts are designed to absorb shocks. If parts do fail replacements are available at reasonable cost.
