Over 40 years after its maiden flight, the C-160 Transall enjoys an outstanding reputation with crews as a safe and reliable transport aircraft. Due to its international use in crisis areas and flights for relief organisations such as UNHCR it is also frequently present in the media. Many anniversaries with air transport squadrons over the years have also given the Transall many interesting special liveries which enjoyed great popularity.
