Features of the kit include a one piece moulded lower hull with fine detail and individual track links which assemble into realistic tracks. Some components are supplied in photo etched brass. Decals and detailed assembly instructions are included.

In early 1941, two new model of the StuG III introduced. There are StuG III Ausf C and Ausf D. There is no external difference between the two types. Ausf C and Ausf D re-designed supertructure which eliminated the front aperture for the gunner’s sight.
Only three StuG D served in north Africa with Sonder Verband 288. This was a tropicalised vehicle with additional air in takes cut into the rear deck access hatches that were covered by armour cowls.
