The DH 62 Tiger Moth bi-plane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland took its first flight in 1931. Between then and 1944 almost 9000 were produced with one of the key uses being that of a training aircraft. Many survived and the aircraft which we have modelled here is as used by the RAF's Central Flying School. Our 1:72 scale replica featuring the red/white and blue RAF roundel on the upper wings is colourfully decorated with red and silver fuselage, red and white chequered upper wings and tail and silver under body. The identification markings on the underwings and along the rear fuselage are printed in black. The fine wing struts, propeller spinner and wheel hubs are also silver, whilst other details are finished in black.
