Production of this model will be limited to just 750 worldwide and Tiger Hobbies will take about 500 of which only 200 or so will be available for trade. The remaining 300 will be for the retail of HAC and Tiger Hobbies Limited.

The model comes in a very special box showing Flt Lt Charlie Brown taking the Fury on its first flight in almost 70 years. We have made with the full co-operation of the HAC minor modification to the model including the tail wheel addition, also the pilot is painting in the kit worn by Charlie on his flight. Hawker Fury Mk.I (G-CBZP), K5674, manufacturers serial 41H/67550. The Hawker Fury is widely regarded as the epitome of biplane fighter development and arguably the most beautiful biplane ever created. Powered by a 525hp Rolls Royce Kestrel IIS V-12 supercharged, water-cooled engine, there are no other known survivors anywhere in the world and thus the aircraft can claim to be unique. It was acquired from South Africa in 1994 after a tip-off from the RAF Museum. After a long and painstaking restoration of thousands of man hours, Flight Lieutenant Charlie Brown, took to the air for a one hour test flight on the 6th August 2012.

The first flight of the Hawker Fury I took place in March 1931. Because of the Great Depression and the high cost of the Fury only 118 were produced for the RAF. It was the first RAF operational aircraft to exceed 200 mph in level flight. In May 1931 No. 43 Squadron was the first to receive the new aircraft. Starting in 1936 five RAF squadrons received the new improved Fury II. Seven foreign air forces ordered the Fury II. In 1939 the RAF Furys were replaced by Gladiators and Hurricanes.
