Secondhand Mini-ships 1/1250 KB56 HMS Vindictive repair ship proposal

A 1/1250 scale second-hand model of HMS Vindictive as a repair ship. This model is based on an Anker 06 training cruiser model of Vindictive but the 7.5" guns have been replaced by smaller weapons (probably 4" shielded AA guns, the main mast by a crane and the crane on the quarterdeck has been retained. This does not match any photographs of the repair ship version that we have found but it might have been a proposal when the refit to HMS Effingham standard fell through. This model is finished in Home Fleet dark grey and has wood-coloured decks, see photograph.
