A detailed model of the VDA air braked covered box van.

This bacth of high-speed freight wagons was developed from previous designs to be suitable for a range of customers and traffic flows. The sides comprised a mix of cupboard and sliding doors, with the central opening being able to give free access to the area between the axles. This permitted heavy loads to be positioned centrally by fork-truck.
