New and detailed models of the BR air conditioned express passenger stock built from the early 1970s. BR was one of the first European railways to offer air conditioned accommodation as standard on principal services.
This is a model of one of the brake second class coaches fitted with a drivers' cab for push-pull operation with class 47/7 locomotives on the Edinburgh to Glasgow service. Painted in the ScotRail blue stripe livery.
Fitted with DCC controlled directional and interior lighting.
