A detailed model of the BR class 33 Bo-Bo locomotives built for BR Southern region to provide disel power for non-electrified routes. The class always travelled widely on goods services originating within the Southern region, reachining into the Midlands and North Midlands regions as far as Yorkshire. During the 1980s the class were deployed in 3-day rosters covering inter-regional services based on the Portsmouth to Cardiff service, but including services to West Wales, and via the Welsh Marches route to Crewe and Manchester.
