A detailed model of the BR standard class 4MT 2-6-0 mogul equipped with the large Stanier-style BR1B tender. These tenders were fitted to locomotives working in areas with more limited water supply and locomotive tenders needed to hold more water to complete longer runs between stops, for example on the Southern region where there were no water troughs.
Equipped with a tender drive mechanism to provide plenty of power the locomotive body is highly detailed with many separately fitted detail parts and the lack of a motor allows the clear daylight area under the boiler to be replicated.
76063 with high-sided BR1B tender painted in the BR lined black livery with later crest.
Era 5 1957-1966. NEM coupler pockets. DCC Ready 6-pin decoder required for DCC operation.
