A highly detailed model of the GWR 8750 type panniers built from 1933, part of the 57xx class of 863 engines being built between 1929 and 1950. The 57xx became the mainstay of the GWRs small tank engine fleet for shunting, station pilot, pickup goods and branch line service.<br />Model finished as 9659 in GWR green livery lettered G W R. This 1946-built pannier tank carried GWR livery in the early British Railways era and can easily be backdated by removing the smokebox numberplate<br /><br />
