Bachmann Graham Farish N Gauge 373-261 GWR Cattle Wagon GWR Goods Grey
The GWR were very progressive with their design of cattle wagons, incorporating robust steel frames, oil lubricated axleboxes and vacuum train brakes in the early 1900s. This allowed cattle trains to be run at higher speeds and the wagons could be attached to branch passenger trains, cutting journey times.
The sound, well-thought-out design of these wagons saw the design adopted with only minor alteration as the British Railways standard.
This model is painted in the GWR dark goods grey livery with 1930s-BR lettering. Era 3
