This Metcalfe station building kit is in the style of a typical Brunel-designed stone structure, similar to those seen at Bradford on Avon and Twyford. It includes some wonderful laser-cut canopy brackets and awnings, as well as the superbly designed die-cut card building structure itself. Printed in full colour, including the representation of light weathering, this kit is a pleasure to build and will result in a very attractive model for the railway layout. Full glazing is included, and the layering of card allows for the prototypical recesses of the windows to be represented. Clear, illustrated instructions guide the modeller through every stage.
Although sympathetic to the Brunel style this model will look at home on many layouts.
