Navis Neptun 1/1250 1217 IJN Akagi, Admiral Nagumo's Flagship at the start of WW2

Akagi began life as an Amagi Class Battlecruiser but was converted to an aircraft carrier under the terms of the Washington Treaty. Originally, she had 3 flight decks! However, she was converted to a single deck Carrier with a port side island at the end of the 1930s. She was sunk at the Battle of Midway in 1942.
