Argos 1/1250 AS-83 USS Platte AO.186 Cimmaron class oiler 1982-94
1/1250 second hand model of USS Platte AO-186 by Argos AS83. The model is in good condition but there is evidence of some retouching on the port bow and the decal on the starboard bow has the top of the 6 missing, see photograph.
USS Platte was completed in 1982 as modelled but was "Jumbo-ised" in 1994 by adding a section between the bow and the forward refuelling point. She continued in service until 2008 and was sold for scrapping in 2014.
