Poly modeling Plastic is a fantastic smart material which has endless uses and possibilities due to to its low melting point of around 60°C. This means is can be heated with just hot water to a soft putty like consistency and then molded by hand or cast into a mould. Poly Modeling Plastic is a non toxic, biodegradable polyester, coupled with rigidity allowing this thermoplastic to be a more versatile alternative to other forms of materials. This thermoplastic combines tough engineering qualities with a softening point of only 60°C. Once it cools to room temperature it becomes a hard nylon like plastic. It is completely re-formable so it can be reheated and reused. This makes it ideal for small scale modelling, parts fabrication, repair of plastic objects, and rapid prototyping. The material can also be coloured using powder paints or wax dyes. The surface can be painted with acrylic or spray paint.

- 100% Non toxic and will not irritate skin
- Fully biodegradable in soil (6-12 months)
